Microsoft said they would not create a new operating system but then decided to. Windows 11 is the latest operating system today and Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 on October 14 2025. This means your device will no longer receive updates leaving it open to hackers. Some people have tried to follow videos to upgrade to windows 11 but have failed. What does end of life mean
When Microsoft end support for their products, such as operating systems like Windows 10, it means

• It’s faster, more secure, and supported for many more years.
• You may need a newer device, or check if your current PC is compatible.
2. Buy a New PC with Windows 11
• New devices come with Windows 11 already installed.
• Often, the easiest and most secure option is if your current computer is older.
3. Stay on Windows 10 (not recommended)
• You can still use your computer, but it won’t be safe after 2025.
• Not advised unless you have strong security and don’t use it online.
4. Extended Security Updates (for businesses)
• Microsoft offers paid updates beyond 2025, but mostly for companies.
• Not ideal for home users, and can be expensive.
Checking if your device can run windows 11
1. Click Start > type PC Health Check and open it.
2. Follow the prompts to see if your PC is compatible with Windows 11.
Why upgrades matter
Upgrades matter because your data could be hacked or stolen by hackers, and this could be dangerous as they could get hold of your passwords, files, bank details, photos and other confidential data you may have.
